The privacy of our visitors and users of ArtistGreenCard.com a GreenCard.Guide website is important to us. Your personal information is secure and will never be shared with any third party.
The only personal information that we collect from you is your name, email address and city of current residence for our mailing list – this is stored on our web host: HostGator server, mailing list service: Mailchimp and only if a purchase is made: PayPal.
Data Collected to Manage Your Guide Account
At checkout, we collect your name, email address, created username and password. This information is used to setup your account on our site. When redirected to our offsite payment gateway, PayPal, to complete your payment, we may store this information in a temporary session variable to setup your account when you return to our site.
When logged in, we use cookies to track some of your activity on our site including logins, visits, and page views. This information is only to prevent fraudulent use of our guide.
All payment information is encrypted and transmitted without risk using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and PayPal. At checkout your credit card number, expiration date, and security code information is required by our payment gateway PayPal to process your purchase. We do not see this information apart from the last 4 digits of your credit card number and the expiration date which are saved by our site to use for billing reference. At checkout, PayPal may collect your billing address and phone number. This information is used to confirm your credit card. Again, we have no access to this information.
Email support, answering application questions, is provided as a courtesy.
